Hallo Welt Systeme is a young company with headquarters in Remscheid (Germany) and an international team. We have set ourselves the goal to make our digital communication and life just safe. We want to create freedom, self-determination and time for the things, that matters in our life. Our first product is the Volla Phone with the two alternative Google-free operating systems Volla OS and Ubuntu Touch.

Employee for our customer communication

Minor employment of 1 to 2 hours per day

Every day we receive inquiries from interested parties and users from Germany and abroad via e-mail, our homepage or in social media. Your task would be to answer these inquiries as well as to accept and process incoming orders. If you find our products and topics exciting and enjoy working with language and people, this is the right job for you. In cooperation with our marketing agency, you would publish messages in social media and respond to comments.

Requirements are:

Very good German language skills and expressionl
Good knowledge of Englishl
Quick grasp of technical topics.
Experience with social media.
Experience in customer communication is an advantage.

Software developer for Volla OS Software developer for Ubuntu Touch

Freelance work from 1 to 3 days per week

With the Volla OS and Ubuntu Touch for the Volla OS we have taken the first step a smartphone for our freedom through simplicity and privacy. We want to continue this path consistently. Your task would be the cooperation in the further development of our operating systems for the Volla Phone. If you are equally enthusiastic about rethinking the operation of smartphones and data protection, you are the right person for us. Students are also welcome.

Requirements are

Experience with the development of custom ROMs based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP)
Experience with Continuous Integration, preferably Gitlab
Experience with the maintenance of OTA updates
Advanced knowledge of Android Studio and Android Tools
Knowledge in the adaptation of the Android operating system
