Shipping of the Volla Phone Plinius has started

The Volla Phone Plinius is a multi-talented successor to our Volla Phone X23: It features a rugged, water- and dust-resistant design, combined with a sporty yet elegant aesthetic. The convenience of a smart system goes hand in hand with uncompromising data protection. The first devices will begin shipping this week to customers who pre-ordered the Volla Phone Plinius. Production of the Volla Phone Plinius Plus model is scheduled for early June, so pre-orders can be shipped starting in mid-June.

Our new all-in-one device features a dedicated button with customizable functions, a microSD card slot, and an eSIM module for registering electronic SIM cards. This allows you to easily switch to an affordable plan from a local mobile carrier while traveling or effortlessly change your mobile network provider.

The Volla Phone Plinius Plus model variant features even more laptop-level RAM and more persistent storage for your photos, music, videos, and more. It also includes a port for magnetically attachable modules to expand functionality. This makes the device ready for the future.

All models are available with either Volla OS or Ubuntu Touch. The multi-boot feature of Volla OS is in development and will be made available shortly via a system update. With it, you can install and use Ubuntu Touch and, in the future, other operating systems on a memory card. This is a perfect opportunity to try something new.

The latest Volla AI for photo enhancement, as well as improved speech recognition and synthesis, are also nearing completion and will be made available via a system update. In line with the Volla philosophy, not a single bit leaves the device for Volla AI, ensuring uncompromising privacy protection.
