Apps

Volla OS is based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and is therefore compatible with millions of Android apps.

For apps that require Google Play services, you can activate the alternative microG, which in most cases ensures compatibility.

Volla OS displays apps in a familiar grid layout, grouped by frequently and less frequently used apps for a perfect overview. Optionally grouped by categories such as communication and games or rearranged by alphabetical order. A text field serves as a quick filter.

App Stores

Volla OS comes with two app stores

 image

Aurora Store for anonymous and secure installation of apps from the Google Play Store with a security report for each app via a tracker.

F-Droid Store for open-source alternatives for many applications.

A special feature for gamers is provided by Volla OS with the Volla Gamespace, the open source alternative to Google software.

Get everything on your Volla phone or tablet for a limitless gaming experience and define how your smartphone should behave when calls and system notifications are received. Take advantage of the full power of the G85 and G99 processors, which have been designed specifically for gamers.

Suportive Intelligence

Volla OS uses artificial intelligence where it supports users, without patronizing them, and always transparently, which it does. That's why we call it supportive intelligence.

Not a single bit of it is transferred to a data center, ensuring uncompromising respect and protection of privacy. The supportive intelligence is executed exclusively on the device.

With Volla OS, you decide for yourself what data you share with whom and when. It is based on the open source Android without Google Apps, without Google Play Services and without Google Cloud.

There is also no Volla account. Your data belongs to you.

If you want to use an app that requires Google Play Services, you can activate the open source alternative microG and configure it in the system settings.

The security mode is therefore perfect for protecting children or for using smartphones in small businesses. Define which apps can be used on the smartphone and which websites can be accessed.

Protected internet connections

A virtual private network (VPN) can effectively protect your internet connection. The selection of the service provider requires the utmost care. Therefore, Volla OS contains the VPN app from our partner hide.me as a recommendation.

With a VPN, you can hide your connections from your Internet service provider (ISP), your IP address from website and service operators, and even speed up data transfer. Sites blocked for your location are fully accessible.
